Creative Director, writer/producer at NewsProNet where she led the corporate production division of a leading television news production and syndication company; Senior writer/ video producer, Digital Equipment Corporation. Senior writer/video creative Media Communications Group, and Quantic Communications.  Co-founder and brand agency for Ice Caters a marketing driven company specializing in innovative packaged ice products for the hospitality, food and beverage marketing and promotion industries.  Founding producer at CNN Headline News, 1981-1984.  Award Winner: Telly Award and New York Film Festival Award for video production.  Currently collaborating on a business book slated for publication in 2010. BA English and Mass Communications, University of Vermont.  She’s susan@cwi.me

Michael is a serial entrepreneur in his own right, having founded and led several start-up content and marketing-centric companies, over the past 13 years following a 20+ year career in television news production, management and marketing research/broadcast consulting. WHDH. WCVB. Market Strategies Inc.   Michael was the Founder of NewsProNet and creator of the SweepsFeed syndicated television news service that provides local television and digital media clients with audience relevant, high quality targeted promotable content.  Along with Susan, Michael was among the early producers to launch CNN2 (Now HLN) and at CNN was Executive Producer and Producer of the highest profile early evening and prime time news programming from 1982-1987.  He’s michael@cwi.me

Also of note: He was also Founder and CEO at Ice Caters, where he invented the idea of manufacturing and marketing packaged ice products and based on e-networking ande- marketing, built a nationally recognized, market leading brand within the hospitality, catering, culinary and beverage marketing industries.   In other words, he put his money where his mouth is.

Project Manager: Social Media

“Marketing is an occupation to most people, but to me, it’s that itch you can’t scratch.” Joshua E. McCoy, a brand architect and publicity strategist, is a 20-something social addict that spends his days helping small to mid-size businesses find a ROI in online marketing. As Social Media Manager on the CWI team, he focuses on merging marketing, PR and online tactics to increase both awareness and money. Outside of work, Joshua is a sports and art junkie  connoisseur. Digital Platform Development & Design

James is the gentle giant was once a lead developer and designer for a major web e-commerce company that we once used to create a mega project… and then we offered him the opportunity to hop on the CWI train about 5 years ago, and he’s been our in-house web, database, builder and digital designer ever since.   Did we mention that he’s a gentle giant?  We can’t prove it because he is very shy about posting his picture!   But he does read his email. james@cwi.me

Global Business Development

Alex is based in Shanghai, China and is focusing on the global expansion of Creative Word and Image.  Having studied finance at the University of Georgia, worked in banking and through experience garnered an understanding of the social graph,  Alex brings a differnt perspective to our team.  He has experience building his own websites, blogs and is a content creator (for fun) in his spare time.

Alex has traveled to 30+ countries on five continents and hopes to continue to broaden his understanding of the world.  He is engaging CWI in China through a social platform that he is building and trying to create something truly beneficial.
